Privacy Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Stations application (the “Service”) handles your information, and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

No personal data collected

Stations doesn’t ask you to create an account. We don’t collect, store or share any personal data, such as your name, your email address or your location. The app has no ads and no analytics.

Location

Stations uses your location on your device to find the bike-share system and the stations around you. To estimate walking and cycling times, and to find the destinations you search for, the app sends locations to Apple through Apple Maps, under Apple’s Privacy Policy. If you open directions in Google Maps, the destination is sent to Google, under Google’s Privacy Policy.

Bike-share data

The app downloads the stations’ availability from the open data (GBFS) that each bike-share system publishes. These requests don’t include your location, but the system’s operator receives them like any request on the internet, with your IP address.

On your device

Your preferences, such as the bike-share system you chose, stay on your device.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes requests, including IP addresses, to deliver it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page, and update the “Last updated” date at the top.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
